Salvation Army needs Christmas books!
The Salvation Army is working this winter to serve families around the area through their “Toy Shops.” They serve somewhere between 10,000 and 12,000 families every year by making it possible for parents to have a toy for their child. Parents come and have the chance to pick out a gift for each of their children. Before they leave they’re given a Christian magazine and a Christmas book that shares the real meaning of Christmas. Through serving these families the goal is to share the real purpose of Christmas, the love of Christ.
Salvation Army is in need of Christmas books to share with families in need. You can help provide these and bring the real meaning of Christmas to Twin Cities families. Bring an evangelical focused book that shares the real meaning of Christmas to any drop off site at Wal-Marts and Sam’s Clubs around the area. They can also be dropped off at the Salvation Army headquarters.
