The 4th Annual Paws On Grand  this Sunday, August 2nd from noon to 4 pm, commemorates the dog days of summer by inviting  you and your pets to take a stroll down Grand Avenue. Shops, restaurants, and other businesses will be offering four-legged friends and their owners great sales, treats and water for pets, fun activities, and more. Proceeds from participating businesses will be donated to the Animal Humane Society.

This 23rd Annual Treehouse Golf for Hope event will take place on July 22, 2009 at Minneapolis Golf Club and Rush Creek Golf Club. The event is a scramble format tournament that will include fun games and contests on and off the course. Your registration includes lunch, golfing and greens fees, cart, dinner and a short program.

We talked with Treehouse Director of Development, Susan Langer who told us about a great GOLF CLINIC that will be held for women during the event. I”ll be there and hope you can join us to raise money for a wonderful ministry right here in the twin cities.

I’ve been getting a lot of grief from David and even Jake Sommers (afternoons) when he sits in for running the space heater in the studio…WELL a girl gets chilly sometimes. I was thrilled when someone did the Drive Thru Snuggie Difference and dropped of a leapord Snuggie for me to wear….u know the blanket with sleeves!!  It’s perfect and to whoever sent it to me…Bless u
