Pam’s Pal – Nikki

Today’s Pam’s Pal is Nikki, a two-year-old cocker spaniel at Animal Humane Society’s (AHS) Golden Valley facility.

Nikki arrived at AHS in late May after being rescued from a puppy mill in southeastern Minnesota. Oftentimes in puppy mill cases, the animals rescued will struggle with health, housetraining and socialization issues. In the weeks since arriving at AHS, Nikki has worked through matted fur, an ear infection and some fears brought on by never having been socialized with people. Now, she’s well on her way to being a great pet for a loving family.

Nikki is a gentle girl with beautiful brown eyes and a soft coat. She’s happy and ready for a loving home with an exceptional owner. Learn more about her and the other dogs and bunnies rescued from the puppy mill by visiting Animal Humane Society in person or online at www.animalhumanesociety.org.
