Pam’s Pals – Fancy

pamspals.jpg

Today’s Pam’s Pal is Fancy, a three-year-old coonhound from Animal Humane Society’s Golden Valley facility.

Fancy has been looking for a home for quite some time. She came to AHS after being with another agency for five weeks. We don’t know much about her, except that she’s a sweet, gentle girl, which is no surprise as coonhounds are known to be great family dogs and good with children.

More specifically, Fancy is an English coonhound (or Redtick coonhound). They are known for their social nature, which comes from being bred as hunting dogs to coexist within a pack. English coonhounds can have high energy, so Fancy needs a home where she’ll get plenty of exercise. It’s also good to note that her breed is known for nesting, so her new owners can expect a great deal of cuddling and affection from her.

To learn more about Fancy and the other amazing dogs at Animal Humane Society’s five locations, please call 763-522-4325 or visit www.animalhumanesociety.org.
