Kids are very tech savy these days and as parents, we often assume that the inernet has self-policing built into it.  No so.  Check out this interview from abc about how kids are gaining access to inappropriate sites and what you can do about it.

Computer got a virus?  If you’re on a PC (not a Mac), then go to Start (lower left corner) then Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore.  Then pick a date before the computer started having problems.  This will not wipe out any files you’ve been working on or emails, but it will wipe out any programs you have installed in the time between.  The computer takes care of the rest.
