Busy Moms

Here’s a great math web-site I found where you type in the math problem and click on “solve” and it not only gives you the answer but it shows you all the steps it took to get there!  Now that’s helpful.  Here’s the link!   It’s www.mathway.com.

It’s 4:00 PM, do you know what’s for dinner?  Here’s a website that has you tell it what you have on hand and then it offers recipes that contain those ingredients.  It’s ingenious!  Click here to get there!

  1. Go into your Outlook Calendar.  Click on “New” for a new appointment.
  2. Name the appointment “Drink Water”
  3. Click on the “recurrance” button (It looks like two arrows, one swooping down and the other up)
  4. Either choose a 5 or 7 day week depending if your computer is at work or home.
  5. Change the time to whenever you want that first reminder.  For me, it’s 7:00 AM.
  6. Next, click “OK” at the bottom of the page.
  7. Finally, make sure the reminder box is checked.
  8. If you want more than one reminder per day, just go through this whole process over again wiht a different time for each entry.
  9. Click OK and you’re done.

If you’re like me, you want to eat healthy, but you go to write your grocery list and forget all of the new products you saw advertized in the health magazine this month.  Well, click here for a great, printable list that will get you started.

If you want to be sure the toy your child is playing with this Christmas is safe, check the product against this list of known recalled toys.

I found a great website with more planners and forms than you will ever need in a lifetime!  If you don’t like making your own, but would like to buy them all ready to go, this is your site:  www.FamiliesWithPurpose.com

I need structure to my life!  I need to see a week at a time, especially when it comes to meals.  Without it, I feel like I’m floundering every day at 4:30 trying to figure out dinner.  I created this meal planner to help you decide on your meals for one week, determine who is going to be responsible and assembling the grocery list.  I hope it helps you too!

Do you ever wonder what chores are suitable for your child’s age?  Here’s a great list of ideas.  Try them out and see which ones work for your family!
