If you want to tell others about how great your church is, here’s a website that will help you do just that. Chances are your church isn’t listed there yet as, when I checked, there were only 6 Twin City churches there. Add yours and give rave reviews, or gentle critiques, your call. www.churchrater.com

How great it must have been to have people marvel at your understanding of Scripture at age 12?
When did they stop applauding?
Was it when you made them uncomfortable?
Did they fold their arms in defiance?
Who leveled the first unkind word that pierced your heart?
Thank you for giving up the applause of others for me.
How great it must have been to meet so many different people from every walk of life.
Was there ever a tender moment when your heart skipped a beat for someone kind who had a pretty smile?
What was her name?
Did you ever wonder if true love was a part of the Father’s will for you?
Did you ask?
Was your heart ever sad about that?
Thank you for giving up human love for me.
How great it must have been to get a platform to speak to religious leaders!
Did you envision winning them over as you correctly divided the Word of Truth?
When did you realize they would probably never get it?
Were you tempted to quit?
What kept you moving forward?
Thank you for giving up earthly political power for me.
How awful it must have been in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Was it the final nail in the coffin of your human will?
Did your body and mind scream?
Is this why you had to learn obedience through the things that you suffered?
Was this the final test?
Thank you for dying to yourself first so you could die for me next.
Thank you.
Thank you.

One of the brightspots on the television horizon, in my estimation, is Jerry Seinfeld’s Marrige Ref. Though not perfect nor as pure as I will want it to be, still the seed thought and aim are good: You’re not alone in what you’re going through in your marriage. The goal is not to tackle serious marriage trouble, nor to deal with the dynamics of kids, but soley on the marrige relationship. I like the idea of Jerry Seinfeld heading this up because to me, he seems about as normal as one can be in the Hollywood environment. Having said that, some of the people he will feature as marriage commentators raises an eyebrow. It won’t be a perfect show, but at least it’s trying to make a positive difference as opposed to most of the other “reality shows”. Here’s a preview.

When tragedy strikes, it’s hard to imagine doing the most mundane of tasks. So how then, can a girl with Olympic dreams, even consider skating the program of her life just two days after her mom dies unexpectedly of a heart attack? Here’s a neat tribute from You Tube.
