Coats for Kids Given Away Today!

For 24 years, the Coats for Kids program through the Salvation Army has provided coats for Twin Cities’ children. More than 269,000 coats and winter accessories have been distributed to Twin Cities’ children through Coats for Kids since the program began. Coats will be distributed TODAY at 10 Metro locations. Where is a good place to donate winter clothes and blanket that will be given to people in need in the twin cities area? I know there are lots of places to donate but I never know where the clothes go or how they are given out. I would like to know they are given to people in need or to homeless for our cold winter.
